I wanted to let you know that I read your older posts, re: Dasha's adoption. They were great to read. I have QUESTIONS! What area were you in? How did the central adoption agency respond when you told them your intention to adopt a child with HIV; did they show you several children/referrals or one? Was Dasha in a baby orphanage with other children with HIV? I'm just trying to get an idea of what it's like there. (I have had the experience of helping out in a russian older child orphanage many years ago. They nicknamed me Dasha. :))
I'm so excited to see who God has in store for us! We have 2 birth children and want to have another if it works out that way (I'm almost 42) and yet I feel a strong desire to pursue adoption at the same time. I really have no idea how we'll pay for it if we pursue this right away (without all the money in hand upfront). I figure it should all work out.
She is just the sweetest, cutest, smartest little one ever : )
