Save lots of money, change lots of lives

It has been a little while since I've posted.  I have been VERY busy.  Wrapping up these last days of school, juggling my two boys playing on 3 different teams, babysitting 4 girls while their parents are in Eastern Europe adopting, Project HOPEFUL FIG grant duties, completing our home study, chasing dossier documents, and finishing the basement bedrooms and bathroom.  You know, the usual.

All of that has kept me from doing much fundraising, but in spite of that, generous friends have not stopped working to raise funds for this beautiful group of four that I long to become Heims.

My wonderful friend Julie and her church, HOMEWOOD CHURCH, have conspired to hold a fundraiser for me.  Julie has started something called Heaven's Bridge as a means to assist families and causes in raising funds.  You can visit it here.

If you are interested, you can join us at HOMEWOOD Church for a SUPER-COUPONING event.  Learn all the tricks and tips to get more food and house hold products for less money.  Your $10 donation will register you for the event.  We will also be holding some exciting raffles.  You can win a Thirty-One luggage set, 2 different fragrance sets from Bath & Body Works, as well as a Project HOPEFUL Basket full of t-shirts and jewelry.  Additionally you can by homemade preserves, cookies, pastries and breads!

The event is at HOMEWOOD CHURCH on the corner of 183rd & Governors Hwy, in Homewood, June 30, from 10-12.  Doors open at 9am.
