Joy comes in the morning... or the afternoon, depending

What we have known for a while, but can now officially say is...

We have accepted a new referral. It wasn't official until today so I felt I should wait. Of course I recently realized that others were more optomistic (Andrea at Reece's Rainbow), so if you knew where to look, you would have had the heads up.

God sure does have a sense of humor. Scott actually said that she was too young and it took about 5 days for God to soften us up into total submission. It is a great place to be no matter how much it hurts getting there.
Anyway, her real name is not Daria! I am waiting until after court to tell you! Na Na Na Na Na Na! she will be 3 at the end of October.

I have been waiting for this post for a few days now (I guess I had the heads up).

We actually requested her referral last July when we were there but her registration wasn't complete yet. I have been praying for her ever since and looking at her picture day after day. I am so, so thrilled that she will now have a family!

I will be praying for you on the rest of your journey. I know you have been there a long time already, so I pray things go quickly from here on.

Praise the Lord! Darya has been on my heart for several months now. Late last week I felt an overwhelming sense to pray for her - that a Christian family would be coming for her and for her heart to be protected and prepared. Imagine my joy on this week to see her moved to the "My Family Found Me' page of Reece's Rainbow! I'm even more thrilled that she won't have to wait too much longer (Lord Willing) because you are already in her country! I look forward to continuing to pray for Darya and your family as this journey progresses. Thank you for sharing this special time on your blog.

Hi Heims!

I send hugs with big arms for all of you! I'd been out of the loop due to various family matters over this past month or so. How comforted I am (after my emotions rode up and down like a roller coaster~ reading thru your blog and facebook) to see your arms will hold a special gift on the plane ride home.

-Wishing I was close enough to be on the front line support... praying from the back lines here for all involved!!!

Allowing God's will to define our every breath is both defining and liberating!

(May take a few tissues and boogers along the way...but He is Awesome!!)
